He shouldn't be out here wheeling alone.

If the alternator is good it should keep running.
Find out if he needs a battery, could go to a 24 hour autozone and bring a battery up or take the one out of my big Jeep to get him home

It's running, the prob right now is he's at the steep spot where the two rain Ruts come together. His girlfriend is spotting him. You know the spot I'm talking about right? no lockers, no low range no backing up.

**** happens, I ran Cleggy twice by myself last week and have done so many times before. As long as you don't get stupid and have a vehicle that is good shape it's nothing to be overly worried about.
Still doesn't hurt to let somebody know where you are and roughly what time you should be done. People have died on that trail in the last year

A good reason to make sure you always have a few MREs, or other food items and flashlights when ever you go wheeling, even if it's a close by trail. Never know when you might have to spend the night there!

Yeah I'll be buying a 3 day pack from 5.11 and making it my wheelin bag. After seeing some people get stuck, me breaking down right after Cleghorn on my last trail run, and hearing some stories in the past year... I'm packin some **** even though I don't wheel alone anymore.

Except it would be rat ****ed MREs... **** that ****, I'm done eating those things.

1:20 am, just got home. His jeep died out right in the twisties on 138. Glad I had my stinger to push against his tire with. Pushed him off the side of the road and tried to jump him, no go. Out with the strap and shackles and towed him to McDonalds. I was worried about someone running us over with no lights on his rig. His girlfriends car was parked at micky d's so he put his jeep cover on and they drove her car home. If he doesn't get it running in the morning ill run down there with my trailer and pull him in.

On another note my jeep is running awesome, must of needed a work out? Went over mtn top in 6th doing 70 mph. Never ran up that pass like that before. It must of needed the cats heated up and blown out ?

Awesome of you to help him out Gary! Not many of you left around that would go out of their way to do that!

Maybe you can look into getting a booster pack. That way the next time something happens you can tie it into the engine bay somewhere and he'll have lights lol.

I hope you never have to come get me. I don't wheel often but I carry tow straps and jumpers incase I need them. I'm halfway prepared. Haha.
