All packed and ready to roll out of Phelan at 5 am. Packing to go was a choir. We packed the usual stuff plus emergency food, extra water bottles, fire starters in the mole packs, even taking sleeping bags just in case. I'd sure hate to have to sleep out there . Hopefully tomorrow night I'll be sitting in a casino watching the dancing girls and having a cold beer. Sunday morning we might try to find a trail taking us to Oatman?

Start out from the intersection of Bullhead Pkwy & Silver Creek Rd, and head East. It's more or less a dirt road, but it's a nice easy ride to Oatman.

Hi Hotshot;
Is anyone going with you? If so look off to the right on your way to Oatman, there's a run that the B-4-W gang calls Candy-***. It's a pretty good run, if you like rock crawlin'. There are also a lotta' mines in that area. Also, if you're gonna' be out there on the 21st, the B-4-W gang is doin' a run to the Desert Bar in Parker. You can look it up on their website. www.bullhead4wheelersinc.com. Have fun!!

Struggling with this very debate (portable v hard mount) on my 13. Only complaint about the pentastar so far...way too complicated to set up a York based OBA.
