I need to double check with Chris again but I think we were planning on Thursday Friday Saturday and heading home Sunday . I think his wife Jenn has to work Wednesday ? Sent from my iPad using JeepForum
Y'all typically pack up early on the last day (Sunday) or do y'all pack up late? I maybe able to stay Saturday night if y'all wanna go on a trail that day too.
The birth of the ZombieHunta!
Are you off Sunday the 24th too? If so we can go to JV that day too. If y'all pack up early then I'll just go out Saturday the 30th. Ya know what... What if I came out Friday evening and we did a night run?!
I don't have a calendar in front of me but I'll check and let you know. Yeah come out Friday night too. Either way you could stay Saturday night, that way you could have a full day of wheeling without having to drive straight home tired.
Yes, but... I drive my jeep to the trails, and I drive it back. Then I drive it to work and back the next day. And then I drive it across the country and back at least every year for a 4000+ mile trip. And I also sleep in my jeep when I'm off road, lol! I love my jeep
But alas, I really do want to try and hit the hammers, I just hope I could make the trip back home after being beat up!
Just cleaned up the inside of the RV, wasn't that dirty just needed polishing, windexing, and vacuuming. Next weekend I'll take it over to the truck wash and let them wash the outside up. Then if the weather is good ill wax it. Tuesday morning I'll be dropping my jeep off at Jeep performance Inc for out boarding. Gonna be a busy week.
Everyone that'll be going to Cougar Buttes for Thanksgiving should try to gather some firewood. Every little bit helps. I'll be bringing some but it probably won't be enough. Figure if everyone packed a bundle or so in their jeeps we should be good. I'll be bringing my big BBQ, it has a burner on the side, half propane grill, and half charcoal. Plus I'll have my camp kitchen set up with a Coleman stove, pans, utensils, etc. Maybe we can plan meals together? I'm planning on bringing some tri tip and cooking it the way I do here with charcoal and hickory wood. Takes about two hours with indirect heat.
What do you guys think about camping near Anderson Dry lake? It's about a mile past CB on Camp Rock Rd but theres restrooms there for anyone that may be tenting it. Or they could just drive over there and use them? What do you all think?
