Bald Mtn is east of Fresno off hwy 168. I've seen stock rigs make it. The tougher sections have by passes. Overall it's not a bad trail and the scenery is beautiful. PM me and I'll give you my number.

I just ran it this weekend on 31's and open diffs. Its as easy or as hard as you want it, depending on the line you take.

I would like to go but I can't make it that weekend. I've never been to either one of those trails.

I should be up in that area that weekend, but I'm not sure the YJ will be ready yet. I'm going either way even if its just to camp.

Is this a day run or camping? Are you gonna start a thread for it?

prolly not. supposed to meet a buddy that weekend to go into Coyote for over nighter. but the wifey may want to go and camp, and shes not big on wheeln, so that would change my plan. would then likely just go into Red for a day run (which is fun, too.) I think she could handle that. so right now my plans are kinda wishy washy. will know more what I'm doing as it gets closer.
I'll just post it up here.

Haven't heard from my buddy yet... so as it stands now, will prolly just find a nice camp spot some where Fri. and do a day run into Red on Sat. That is if they open the trail Sat. as they are supposed to. There have been delays in the past. And I'm not sure what they use as times... 7, 8, 9,...??? If I hear more I'll post it up.

I'll be doing a day run into Red if anyone else will be up there. No set plans. Whenever the wifey gets out of the sleeping bag and we will hit the trail. lol. I'll be in the black YJ with the personal plates (4x4WRM)
Also, I didn't realize next weekend after is Moonlight Madness @ Bald Mtn. So, just a heads up. Check out the Clovis site for info. Not 100% if I'm going yet.

Got up and back in one piece. Weather was great... couldn't have been better. Trail in good shape. Fun weekend. Was all prepared to post some trail video for you guys, but the wifey failed to turn on the camcorder at the right time and all I got was 5 seconds of dirt! Oh well.
