I'm still running the Howel on mine and am about to pull it and toss it in the nearest scrap pile. It still screams at anything above 2500 motor rpm.

Mine doesnt scream but at idle feels like I have stock steering. The steering box at startup squirts oil out the pitman side but stops after a moment.

Its an uncomfortable feeling in a tough position in the rocks.
