Tj Panamint Valley Road to open this weekend!

I read in last nights paper that Panamint Valley Road will be opening by this weekend! Woo hoo that's good news for everybody. One lane could be dirt but they will open the road to all traffic baring any unforeseen problems.

Hope this makes your day!

No, the road I speak of is the paved portion from hwy 190 in Death Valley, south past Ballaratt, and on to Trona etc. It got washed out back in July and has been closed ever since.

I have heard that those that got caught going around the closed road signs got a big cost ticket, something like $700.00 or more!
