I didn't bring the jeep. But if I saw correctly. You get off laurel and then there's a hill. Do you just go over the hill and thebtrails are tucked back in there. It looked pretty sweet if that's where it was. Right off the freeway right.

a long time ago we use to be able to go to riovista and ride in the sand dunes. i guess its a state park now. we also use to ride in antioch as well. there isnt to much left to do in the bay area as far as wheeling goes. there also was a lot of trails in martinez around the morrelo area. long gone.

you guys should try to make the loon lake trip on oct 9th. there are plenty of roads to go explore if you dont want to go on the rubicon. fish friday, wheel saturday(some will go to the little sluice and others that arnt as capable could run up the road to the wentworth springs entrance and go in the trail a ways. get back for a bbq and fish loon again on sunday. you dont need a modified rig to do this trip.

Just a quick question, does anyone happen to know anywhere close where you can go wheeling at night? Because I usually go down to Hollister but they don't allow night driving and I've been wanting to try since I got my lights up.

Alright!!! I should jumped in the wheelin' threads awhile ago instead of sticking to the tech sections. I took my jeep out to carnagie once, too small. But I had a bunch of fun through the mud pit!! Hated life the next day cleaning, finding water bottles and torn shirt in my skid plates, but the WJ did good. Now I have a 3.5" lift w/ quick disco's so I need to take it out again. Still saving for my rims and tires so don't laugh too hard at my stock size tires. I don't think it looks too bad and I can flex / stuff the tires as far as my shocks will extended. Hope I don't blow one!

Anyways, I'm wanting to plan a camping trip to hollister in Nov sometime. I'll keep up on this thread so I can meet up with some other jeepers to test my new lift.
