Odessa run Nov.9, 2008

For anyone interested in doing the Odessa run in So.Cal. We , meaning me and about 6 JK's will be doing this run on Nov. 9, 2008. It's a good intermediate run from what I understand and that lockers are recommended for some of the parts of this trail. We will be meeting at the McDonald's located off of the 15 freeway and highway 138 at around 9-9:30 or you can give me at buzz @ 310-947-4033
Good Jeepin'

Be sure to stop off at Peggy Sue's Diner across I-15 from Calico where Odessa Canyon is. It's an old-fashioned diner restaurant with great breakfasts, burgers, sandwiches, and malts!

It's a pretty tough intermediate run but alot of fun. follow it up by coming back down doran canyon. It can all be done without lockers, last year anyway but i don't know what the summer thunder storms did to the trail. We may be out there ourselves.

My vote is for their chili cheese omelet for breakfast. The Peggy Sue’s parking lot is also a good spot to see interesting trail rigs.

P.S. Peggy Sue's Diner's meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy is downright NICE after a tough day wheeling.
