NorCal: Knoxville OHV area run?

My thoughts are this:
1. It's close enough for me to scout out the area.
2. It's closer to the Bay area and Sac valley for those traveling to the area.
3. Lake Berryessa is close for plenty of camping opportunities after the run.
4. Difficulty of trails to be determined with scouting trips
5. Make it a Saturday run for those who want to camp or have Fathers Day free.
6. Explore new territory(it's an ADVENTURE) guys!
7. We can start a little later in the day.

I'm thinking starting off in Lower Lake at a local pizza joint for an early lunch(11:30ish), then head out Morgan Valley Rd. to Knoxville. Spend some quality time on the trails (4-5hrs), then break off around 5-6ish where most can follow Morgan Valley road on out to 128 and either head to Napa or Vacaville way for home. I was thinking Fathers day weekend, but maybe that's too soon for proper planning. Thoughts?

So, who'd be interested? Come on now, don't be shy!

Yeah, I know this run is a little shorter notice, but if I plan a run much later in the summer I think I will need to plan one that involves the coastal regions since the heat is gonna kick in anytime. Knoxville in July when it's 103 out doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me!

4wheel Parts is having a customer appreciation run at Hollister Hills on July 22. I am thinking that might be a great July run for our little band. They will be giving away prizes and hosting a BBQ also. The cost is $5.00 per vehicle. This would also give Jim a scouting break LOL.

Since I have nothing planned for July, that sounds like a good idea. I've never been to Hollister, so sounds like an "adventue"!
Maybe we can "persuade" titomars to setup a caravan to Hollister for this event?

Dang I'm almost positive I wont be able to make that one, that sounds so fun, maby next year. And just like jcool said it's a lil early for me to commit to the knoxeville run but I'm very interested.

Yes I will host a caravan to Hollister. Imagine 20 something Jeeps caravaning through the bay area.

I will find out whats required for you guys not local to preregister at 4wheel parts. I am in there about once a week. haha yeah i know but it is my toy store.

How bout DJ's Pizza in Lower Lake at noon. It's right on Main st on the left side just past the 29/53 intersection. We can scope it out for parking and see if the food's any good.
