I had a great time. Just what I needed to get away for a bit to clear my mind. I'll have videos up sometime soon.

Which way did they go??

Hey Guys- first of all thank you for letting me join along. The old rust bucket was performing well except at the gas pump. ($125 spent)
I had left messages with Tito on his phone and he called me last night.
Thanks Gene your wife called to check on me- what a relief!!
I can only imagine how many WTF over was said.

After we stopped in the snow I piled in the pack behind the WJ and in front of the Scrambler. I started off and noticed the 8 wasn't behind me. I lagged a bit to see if he would catch up. Then I lost sight of the WJ.
Good grief
I got on the radio and hollered to ask what up? I then told the scrambler it looked like all went right down the hill . We just came up I figured we would be heading down. I followed down as I saw tire tracks and then I saw the sign for Upper lake. Still no sign of the pack or the 8. I went to a clearing and got on the radio again- nothing- had a cel signal, called Tito. OK were officially seperated and I have to get into SMA ( save my @ss) mode.
Broke out my GPS clicked- take me home Betty. Ended up going for quite aways and ended up on Elk Mountain road at Middle Creek.
I stopped and aired up- unlocked the hubs and proceeded on.

Sorry to put you guys on the goose chase - appreciate the effort

Rich(RParky), first off, my apologies for not keeping track of everyone. My job as tail gunner was to make sure everyone stayed together, and I failed miserably in that regard. When we left the snow area, I honestly thought you were in front of me, and it wasn't until we got to the top of Goat Mt that we realized we lost you. I went back to look for you at the snow area we stopped at, but you were gone. Spent the next hour or so looking in all the possible directions you could have went, but ended up hoping you just went on down the mountain, so we proceeded down in hopes of reaching you. It looks like you ended up taking a similar path because we ended on Elk Mt and then down to Middle Creek Campground. We are all very fortunate and thankful you made it out ok. Rich says I need to change my saying from "No one left behind" to " No Jeeps left behind" , LOL! Yeah, I know, it's not funny, but I just glad everyone made it out safe. Other than losing Rich, we had a great day of wheelin! Pics to follow.

Right now I am glad to be home watching the Giants ---Hoping for OT
Seriously - I had a great time as a first timer with your group.
I think we all learned a little.
