Probably, if you don't mind getting your feet wet, LOL! I may drive out to the gate today anyway and take a couple pics, maybe see how high the creek is flowing.

Let me know how it looks for shooting into the mt right there at the gate (but down In the creek area) I've seen lots of people doing that before. I personally like going way back in there lol

Sorry guys! Didn't make it out to the gate today. Still recovering from the flu, and just wasn't feeling up to it. My down time has got me thinking about other aspects of the run. I will update the list of people interested in this run once we get closer to our date. I would like to plan a finish to our run that will allow those interested to get together before leaving for home at the end of the day. We'll be finishing up in Ukiah. We will end up coming out on Talmage Ave which will lead us to a shopping center that includes a Walmart and others. There is a Shell station and a Jack-n-the-Box right next to it. I thought the Shell station would be a good place to air tires back up and reload for those heading back home. We could finish up at the Jack-N-The Box, or we could venture to a local Round Table Pizza for dinner. Thoughts on this are welcome.

That sounds good to me. I'd like to be on the road home by 8 or 9. I'm sure we will be done before that, just saying.

I am still down for the same date, this will be my first trip out with the jeep and also my first time offroad so i think a smaller event like this would be a better way to learn the basics. And just a heads up, I will be asking some stupid questions

Should be done well before 8. Hoping to be in Ukiah no later than 6. Course when offroading, you never know what the day will bring you.

I posted this on WF. These come in handy when offroading for communicating with the group. If you guys have em, bring em. Unfortunately, they won't communicate with CB radios. Picked these up at a local Best Buy for bout $60. Cheaper ones work fine too. Just need a mile or two range.

I got a set of those somewhere in my garage. I'll try an find mine an bring them as well. I figure I can keep one in my jeep, and loan the second one to some one else. Plus, I have my CB. Still trying to figure out how to tune it properly.

Took a drive out to the gate today. Closed of course due to recent rains. Creeks are flowing pretty good. Should be dried up by the time of run in May.
