Titomars has offered to help organize the caravan for us Northbay/Sac area folks for a possible caravan to Hollister. Could be epic guys! The sign up is $5 at the local 4Wheel parts. Titomars frequents the establishment and has offered to do a paypal and sign up those who can't make it to a local 4Wheel parts. Being as I'm an 1.5hr drive to a nearby store, I will take advantage of titomars generous offer and have him sign me up.

I see a caravan list forming..............

Hey titomars, can you only sign up at the Santa Rosa location, or will any 4WP sign you up?

Any location works. Just hang onto your receipt for them when you get to Hollister.

That would be cool if we could meet up with them! What route are we going to take from Santa Rosa?

Well depending on stops, I planned to go straight down 101 except in SF we would use 19th to 280 then back to 101 at SFO. Unless everyone wants to stay on 280 to San Jose.

I'm all for 19th and 280. Traffic tends to roll better that way.

Cj

It does roll better but its a long boring drive in my opinion. I used to have a girl friend in San Jose so I used to make the trip at least every other weekend. 280 generally does not save more than 5 mins from SF to SJ and for my CJ, 101 always gave me better MPG's. Plus 280 always seems to have CHP's all over it.
just my observations. I know most people prefer 280, as long as we get there i am cool. LOL

I agree with you. 280 can be long and boring, especially in a jeep! We could do like suggest and just take 280 to where it connects by SFO and back on 101. Works for me! Would love to just take Hwy 1 all the way to Santa Crus, but that would be major back tracking to do that.
