i run 90 wt gear oil in mine, if that's what your asking.
why are you pulling the housing off to change the seal.?

its not the housing its just the case that goes over the output shaft it was just easier to say housing its that little cone looking thing that has 3 bolts holding it to the back of the T-case

Awww, mommy and daddy just want to play it safe!  But definitely surprising that they won't let you go, considering Goob's your age. You could always do everything you can to make them forget about the trip, and then just tell a fib about where you're really going the day of the trip 
Don't worry, you're not the only one not going. My Jeep is still on jack stands waiting on parts... But I finally get to order gears for my axle either tomorrow or Wednesday when my paycheck comes 
And I found a set of D-rings at a house I was working at today, so tomorrow I'm going to fab some mounts onto my bumper and get them on

yea, well the plan was for goob to spend the night at my house. so cant really sneak that. i guess he could just spend the night at bobs water-tower 
and yes i could lie of where i am going. but if my parents found out i prob would lose my jeep!!

its been a long time but i remember when i was your guys ages, and looking forward to the weekends to tie one one. cruize walnut creek in my 69 chevy van with a pumped up 327 corwette motor, drinking boonsfarm or some cheep beer. those were the times. 1972

hey goober. so i was talking to my mom and dad yesterday. and they arent very fond of me going with you especially because they have never met you. i told them you where a church guy, nice kid and not a sexual predator. so basically i cant ride with you because they dont know you. and i asked them, what if they met you before the trip, and i guess they are still not comfortable with it. so basically i wont be attending the Deer Valley Trip
