Where do I get spare U-joints? How much are they and do I really need them for the trip?

I wouldn't worry too much about it, and any auto parts store will have them, roughly $20.

you get them at the auto parts store. Its something you should always carry. Last year Derrick managed to break one. I noticed that everybody went to their Jeeps and grabbed one to see if it would fit. They are relatively cheap like 16 bucks i think. You can get them with the zirk fitting to grease them or without. I prefer the non greasable ones since its one less thing to get hit. Plus they are pretty cheap and easy to replace.
