On Deer Valley my TJ with 31's and a BB I crushed the passenger side rocker panel and used my Hi Lift 2 or 3 times to stack rocks under a tire when I got hung up on some the bigger rocks.

I'm getting excited for this trip already. I'm on the road right now, but I will be back in May and will be trying to either do a Tummy Tuck / SYE or a front locker before I go. I also have a tentative trip planned for the Rubicon in late June. That's more my inspiration to upgrade. I made it through DV/SR okay last year with a lesser setup.

We still looking at July 30 and 31st? I think that would be great because it's the weekend of the Jeepers Jamboree. Should keep most of the people away from the less popular trails. That's really the only weekend around that time that works for me anyways.

Hopefully we dont run into the DV Swamp again! I hear there is 14 feet of snow on ice house road.. Alpine cant be far behind!

The main thing I would be worried about is fallen trees. I was out in some backs woods 30 miles or so SW of Lake Alpine last week around 5-6k elevation and ran into a small amount of snow and alot fallen trees. Lake Alpine should be good by the end of July but DV I'm not so sure will be ready, I'm going again with a chainsaw in a few weeks.

The thing I'm worried about is how deep are those water crossings going to be. The last one on DV last year was as deep as I care to go.

I'll be heading to Slick Rock mid july, I'll see how it is then. Might skip out on the DV trail run.
