Sorry if you guys already covered it, but what ended up happening to the white wrangler that attempted the second half of the steps but after something kept popping, he backed down and took the bypass. Sounded like he may have busted his spider gears to me.
The linkage on my transfer case broke. Kept throwing it in and out of 4wd. But made it home. Thanks for the concern.

Hey people, I heard there was two feet of snow that fell on Bear Valley recently... does this mean Ebbett's pass is closed 'til the snow melts again? I'd like to go on Slick Rock trail soon, but not if there's snow, **** I don't even have lockers haha

im so mad i could spit!!!! its not only the trails being closed by them asshats. its the high fines the state is charging for tickets and the sneaky sob highway patrol hiding like buzzards at the overpasses trying to balance the budget. who sets them fines anyway , talk about an injustice. by the way i just went over the benicia bridge pulling my 2 wheel trailer and i begrudgingly put out my $7.50 and the guy laughs and says its $20!!!! wtf... $5 for the truck and $15 for the trailer!!!!!
if anyone wants to start a revolt, im in....

The ticket thing sucks because the base fine is one thing, then the State adds on a ton of "fees" that have nothing to do with the fine, that's how a $25 cell phone ticket costs over $100. The bridges and tolls are bad too, but did you see what they just did with use and launch fees at the lakes? Holy crap $18 to launch a boat.... that's total crap, CA is the ONLY place I've ever been where you have to pay to put the boat in the water.
