Phelan huh? Your not that far from me, what about an hour and a half? As soon as I can set a date, that will be sometime in early August, I will let you guys know, hows that?

Hell I might even take my trailer and have my daughter drive the Jeep up and make a weekend of it, time will tell.

No I don't, sorry. I have met a few of the local Gear Grinders but have yet to see a red TJ in the group I've met. Is he a member of the GG?

Yeah I don't think he's in a club. He hangs out in the Roll Call LA thread.

Yj Monache Meadows trip 2

Hey GOFISH TJ and HOTSHOT, or anybody else that might want to, I will be going up for the second time with a newbie from town that just got a Jeep. My daughter may go along with a friend or another friend of mine might go, it all depends.

We will be going up Saturday August the 11th and if you can make it that would be great. We will be meeting at the Shell station in Pearsonville at 8am to top off the tanks and then head up the hill from there.

If you can make it I will suggest you bring food, water, and a camera.

Any questions just ask away or shoot me a PM.
Hope to see you there.

Sounds like fun. I won't be able to say if I can make it for sure though until next weekend.

No problems Gofish, hope you can make it. I called the ranger station in Kernville and he said it's about 45-50 miles and will take you an hour and a half to get to the Blackrock ranger station which would be a good meeting spot for us. We will be coming up from the other side of the mountain and stopping there for a strech and bathroom break. While there you can get any maps you can grab as most are free and you can always buy the BIG forest map.

Let me know if it works out.

Like they say on The Price Is Right, "come on down"! Right now it is 2 rigs for sure with 3 more as maybe so it won't be a big group.
Let me know if you can make it daK09.

Keep ya posted. Might keep it local with a early morning run through Black Rock and Last Chance...
