A few of us from the LA area are planning to go to Moab the week after Easter, which is also the week after EJS 2015. The dates are set (because of Spring Break schedules), but the specific trails haven't been planned yet. This will be a family-friendly trip (my kids and Zombie's kids will be going), but don't let that discourage you... they've been Jeeping since they were toddlers.

I’ll update this first post as the plans solidify.

WHO’S GOING?

SUN & MON – 4/5 & 4/6 - Travel Days from LA to Moab
TUES-FRI – 4/7-4/10 - Trail Days (Details about specific trails TBD)
SAT & SUN – 4/11 & 4/12 - Travel back to LA

Where'd you book already Mpond? That campground you were pointing out before? Zombie, give me a call later today when you're free and we should talk about booking something too...

Yeah - I booked an RV site at Moab Valley RV - http://moabrvresorts.com/moab-valley/

I think Zombie was looking at their cabins & cottages. FYI - the Cottages have their own bathroom & shower, but the Cabins share the community bathrooms with the Tent campers.

The Moab KOA is a great place to stay....and has cabins too. It's also very close the the town hall....where you register , Vendors show and the raffle for the event. Very clean and good prices. ..

Correct on the bathroom. They do have a pool too! I'll call you later skylar.

The Moab KOA is awesome. The cabins are sweet, we stayed there last year.

I believe we were the first to stay in these.

Full size bed, two bunks, full bath, tv, fridge, microwave, table and chairs....and a great view.

You're only a few minutes from downtown Moab as well.

FYI. I think I'm out due to business reasons. The problem is that when I can confirm it will most likely to late to secure lodging. This would have been a family trip and kids don't do well in a tent for a week.

On a second note this maybe a big bear trip.... Haha. I won't hijack the thread.

That's a bummer. Hopefully something will still be available when you can confirm...
