Magnaflow Exhaust system street legal in CA?

Hi forum!

I'm new in CA (moved here from Germany) and I drive a 2011 Grand Cherokee 5.7l.

I'm a bit unsatisfied with the sound so am considering installing a magnaflow exhaust system (16929).

Is this street legal in CA?
Also, do you think the next smog check might fail because of a new exhaust?

Thanks,
Tim

Yes it is. Magnaflow is a great system so is Flowmaster or Borla.

great, thanks!

Do you know about that for cold intake systems?
I know that KN isn't street legal (at least the ones for this car) what about Mopar?
I'm considering buying this one if it is street legal - can't find any information about that...

Thanks,
Tim

I have a Banks cat back exaust system and a K&N cold air intake and just passed smog with no problems last week. In regards to K&N (maybe others) I had to have (and show him) a little sticker w a serial # on it that meant it was approved by CARB before he would pass it. They come w the sticker if purchased in CA and of not he said K&N would send you one.

I passes smog with no problems too...

My K&N FIPK came with a sticker too....

My Magnalfow kit came with 2.5" mandrel bent pipes...stock is 2.25" on I6 and 2.5" on V8...

Have Magnafloe hi-flow cat and a muffler to match that...
