Low Rangers 4WDC - new club - San Jose,Ca

Hey everyone, I'm Dave and I am starting a local 4 wheel drive club in the San Jose area. We are a family oriented club, looking for members to help get the new club rolling. We are having a Meet & Greet Saturday May 1st at Vasona Park in Los Gatos between 10 and 2pm.

Was you last club experience filled with drinkers or people cursing around your kids? Did you just get a 4x4 and want to learn about 4 wheeling the right way, without giving environmental groups more ammo to close trails? We are not a religious club just a club with values. Come check us out.

email me for question or more info cjjeepdave@yahoo.com

Thanks

Though no one posted up here we had a decent turn out of 7 rigs and 9 people. Not too bad. Met some nice people and had a good time burning hotdogs and talking trucks. We are having a overnight run at Hollister Hills the 15th of this month. email me for details

I'd be down for the next trip you have going. Have a quick question, do you have a rough idea of how many trips per year and the types of trips this club is planning to do.

Thanks,
Fred R.

not at this time. I'd like to do at least 1 maybe 2 trips to the Sierra's this summer. With some Hollister trips in between. Since gas is going up again it's hard to say. Also work schedules between people always get in the way.

Darn, I don't check this part here regularly and now I have missed one important meeting. Worst case is that Vasona is around the corner where I live. Keep this thread up when you meet again. Are you planing on having a webpage up for more information?

Actually you haven't missed the meeting. I forgot to post up we are having our first monthly meeting on the 20th. I'd love to have a webpage but not being "that" computer savy we use Facebook mostly. I will however keep this thread updated. I'll pm you my info as well

I know Cal4wheel is a great organization, but I just don't have the commitment from some of the guys to do all that is required for Club membership into Cal4Wheel.

I also thought I'd tell everyone our meetings are held the 3rd thursday of the month at the Skillet of Campbell at 7pm. In case someone wants to check it out.

Or email us lowrangers4WDC@yahoo.com of visit on on FaceBook.

How did the club meeting go? I was on my way to Johnson Valley for a Thanksgiving Camping/ 4 wheeling run. Do you have any meeting notes? How has the turnout been recently? Any upcoming trips planned?
