Looking for others to wheel with in Shasta County Area

We live in Redding and enjoy wheeling on the weekends. Looking for others in the Shasta County area to wheel with.

Pantheus I see you on the Nor cal Crawler site also. Why didn't you mention that local club? Also, have you been up to the High Lakes since we got snow?

Because it is in Butte County, not Shasta County as the SO asked ?? It'd be a 65 mile drive from Redding to Chico for that one, when there are 3 clubs and a BBS in the same town.

I cruise lots of boards including my own http://www.4x4trailfinders.com/index.php

and of course Friends of The High Lakes takes all of my time. http://www.friendsofthehighlakes.com

No, not me personally, and was supposed to go Friday, but that fell apart with deadlines for the meeting about not losing any more of the High Lakes to closures.

Reports though say 3 to 4 feet and drifts to 7 or 8 feet, though.

I went through Inskip to Butte Meadows Saturaday afternoon. There was about 18' snow - kind of icey. I ran into a friend on his way down from Philbrook, he said conditions were the same all the way up.

Nor Cal Crawlers meeting at Logans Thursday starts at 6PM. The meetings are open to visitors.

I was up on the skyway above Butte Meadows on Tuesday. Maybe 18" but not 18'.

Oh ya it was icy!! I stopped in the road in one place. As I tried to get started again in 4wd my wheels were spinning forward but I was going backwards. I had to lock up the axles to get going forward again.
