Im thinking about running from silverwood lake up to the devils hole trail, and on to dishpan tomorrow. If anyone wants to go let me know. I haven't ran dishpan at all so I'm more or less just going to scout the trail for a run that's coming up in a few weeks. Not looking to do any hard core wheeling, just gonna be putting along checking out the scenery.

We're starting out at Silverwood Lake and heading up to the Devils Hole trailhead. from their we take the Devils Hole Trail for a little ways and then head south to the Dishpan trail head. None of us have been on Dishpan and a couple of us are talking about running from Silverwood through to Big Bear in about three weeks so I just thought I'd go take a look and see what Dishpan is all about. Don't really know anything about Dishpan other then watching a couple of videos.

Ok here's the trail numbers. We start out on the East end of Silverwood Lake and take a easy trail up the mountain. Trails 2N37 to 2N33 to Hwy 173. From there we jump on trail 3N34 which is pretty easy, has a short rutted down hill but it's easy, then we have a couple water crossings before we turn to the south. From there you can stay south and come out at Lake Arrowhead, or stay on 3N34 and run the dishpan trail out to Crab Flats. This section of 3N34 is rated black diamond. I've seen a few videos and it doesn't look to bad but I can't say for sure. I figured we'd run it and if it got to difficult for anyone in the group we could turn back. I really doubt we'll have to turn back though.
