Lightbulb Kickback for local Jeepers (Greater LA and SFV)

Just gauging interest if any local Jeepers would be interested in an area member kickback? I was thinking (depending on group size) of having a barbeque here at my place and just meeting each other and checking out each others' rides. Also thought it would be cool so down the road if one of us needs a helping hand on our Jeep we have some people to call.

I'd prefer to keep it on the smaller side cause my place is pretty small, so serious replies only.

I can supply the food to grill, but it would be BYOB. We can do it on a Saturday and it would be kid-friendly so wives/girlfriends/kids would be welcome also.

Anyways, let me know if this is something you'd be interested in and I can start setting it up.

Hey Mike, nice to meet you

Does your son have the YJ in your signature? I'm always up for exchanging information - there is always so much to learn. And I'd love to see your H1...I've admired those ever since I was first around them at a National Guard base back in 1997.

I've found that the Jeep community out here in LA/SoCal is more about getting out to go wheeling rather than hanging out and exchanging ideas, projects, thoughts, or making a bunch of new friends. Not that I blame them tho cause who wouldn't want to get out of LA lol.

We'll see if we can't get a few more people interested - if not, then I can always drive up to you in Palmdale that way I can check out the YJ and H1

BBQ? Comparing Jeeps? Sounds like this should be done around the campfire after a nice trail run

I'd be down for a kickback. My jeep is stock, so it won't do a lot of the trails people run.

I'm in the Santa Clarita area btw.

I'm in the midst of a round of upgrades here, so I won't be back out on the trail for a few weeks, but the next scheduled run I have is Memorial weekend doing Big Bear. This will be all the trails in Big Bear straight through without hitting pavement. Here's the thread for it if anybody else wants to come along!
