Is there any benefit to going there over buying new/somewhere else or are they simply a rip off? I was planning on going there when it's time for a D44.

In the Southern LA county/Northern OC there are 3 pull-your-own type yards. Pick Your Part has two yards that are literally just a few miles apart, one on Beach Blvd. in Anaheim, the other on Katella in Stanton. Ecology Auto Parts has a yard in Santa Fe Springs.

Pick Your Part usually has a selection of ZJ's & XJ's. I went to Ecology the first time yesterday. They had several XJ's but only a few ZJ's. There always seem to be more of the 93-95 ZJ's than the 96-98's. I've never seen a Wrangler and only once seen a WJ at any of the yards, but there is an occasional FSJ.
