Jeepers Jamboree Rubicon

Just wondering if anyone is going on the Jeepers or Jeep Jamboree on the Rubicon Trail. Yes I know its pricey and I agree it is. Just wondering if anyone is going. I will be going with 3 other Jeeps

We run at least one trail in cal every year. Though I would not run any of them with "Jamboree". I hate being in a group of what 500 jeeps.? But if you can not get a group of wheelers to run it I guess its the only option.

We are running the Dusy this year since they ruined the COn last year and made it MUCH easier. Next year its Fordyce

If you have three jeeps going why pay these guys? BUT check the trail days as there are a few of these "for profit" that close the Con when they run it.

The Jam people that run this destroyed our area last year. Stacked all our trails. They wanted our club to "run" the trails for them. But would not donate to any of our none profit causes. To them its all about the money. at the cost to the locals to clean up after they leave. ****em

I did the 3 day Jamboree last year and although the 3 day event was pretty easy, my son and I had a great time. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to do the Con. We had no issues with others on the trail and it wasn't very crowded. They feed you while you're there and the food is excellent. If you do the 4 or 5 day Jamboree and like to party, you will have a great time. If you don't want to be kept up every night, then go on the 3 day event.

I did the Jamboree in 07 , had a Blast !! haven't been able to afford it since
As to the Jamboree people not being local , They are based in Jamestown , and I believe they members of the Rubicon trail Foundation . It Does suck that they would not donate to your Charities .

I'm going on the Jeepers jamboree next weekend. Going in on Wednesday. I've run the Con many times but never attened this event. Hope to meet lots of people and see lot of cool rigs. Are there folks on here north of Sacramento that are going?

I did the Rubicon for two years with Jeepers Jamboree (Jeep Jamboree 2nd week) and one year with Jeep Jamboree USA. Both are excellent trips and no complaints. I do prefer the way Jeepers Jamboree runs their event a little better. Jeep Jamboree USA puts you in groups based on rig build and experience. You stay with that group all day into camp. Jeep Jamboree USA does not have exclusive use of the trail so we did run into other rigs going the opposite way last year.
