I am not currently affiliated with, nor a member of any of the following clubs and am not endorsing any 1 club over another. These are just a couple of the local ones that I know of. (I haven't joined any yet myself as I just picked up my XJ a week ago..)

Yeah I went the the av four wheelers meeting. A group of very nice people... I have had a lot of personal stuff going on so I haven't been able to make it back. That's been about 6 mos ago... Looking to form a group of guys on the job that are interested in wheeling... If you are FD or EMS related and interested I will keep you in mind for upcoming outings.

My wife and I are moving over to Acton on Wednesday. Actually into the Solidad Canyon area. So we are also looking at clubs in the area. You might also look at the Bakersfield Trailblazer. They are a great club. Very active.
