Gold Mountain Pics and vid

Had a blast yesterday, everything started off great we ran all the main rock and ledge areas with little to no difficulty. theeen we got to the north facing slope with snow...... stuck after stuck in one area lead to a 7hr delay. with many winch pulls and yanks with a tow strap. the sun started setting and it was getting cold. everyone but me and kyle got out of the nasty section of ice and snow with a side slope that kept getting us deeper and deeper. I didnt think there would be Feet of snow still on the ground so i didnt bring my chains or other snow gear i would usually carry. with lots of help from everyone and a chevy/yota we were able to get ourselves out. we were about ready to leave the vehicles over night and come back with the correct gear the next morning. i gotta go survey the jeep and get it ready to drive back home after lunch, so im sure everyone who went will chime in.
here are some pics and the video is uploading as I type.
I have individual video too i can email to whoever wants em.

Fun trail and good times..until that snow. What a pain in the ***. Good thing that fj40 (?) came by with his 40" boggers. We gotta run that trail again, once the snow melts. I'll try to get Kristen's pics up tonight.

Wish I would have seen the post about this trip. Would of liked to tag along. That is if you guys don't mind us old farts.

Looked like a fun day even with the snow. I know it beats the hell out of work.

Looks like you had fun. I've only been on Gold Mountain once and for some reason didn't get to the rock garden. I must make a return trip.

...there is a bypass trail, we used the bypass on the way down since we came down at night.

The rock garden was fun! I want to go back and play around in there for a while.
