I'm not gonna try and keep track of tentative vs going for sure. I'll just put everyone on a list and with two weeks to go, I'll ask everyone interested to chime in if they are a "for sure going" and adjust the list accordingly.

While following the High Lakes Run thread, I had asked the OP about a book he had posted pictures of. I thought for sure I had this book, and sure enough, I did! Just so happens there is a blurb about the Lost Coast. Keep in mind, the info from this book is from 2004, but much of the info hasn't changed much.

I'd like to join you guys on the Fort Bragg-to-Shelter Cove leg of your outing Sept 8th/9th. Been up in the Mendocino area numerous times but never made it to the Lost Coast Trail.

Awesome! So you want to meet us in Fort Bragg at our lunch spot? Round Table Pizza is a possible meeting spot.

Ahyup... x2. Great reference book for Norcal! And whodda thunk Bakersfield or Mojave was Norcal? I thought the REAL Norcal started when you got north of 'Frisco.

You have to start somewhere to get to the middle of nowhere.

Only if it's a pre-1972 Bronco, and he will be required to cover all ford emblems with cardboard and write "JEEP" on the cardboard. Oh yeah, he must only refer to his Bronco as "a Jeep". Let's see what else....hmmmm.

Just kidding Rich!

Of course he's welcome! Actually, anybody with a 4X4 is welcome. We just happen to be on a "Jeep" forum, so most folks own Jeeps, that's all. All are welcome!

Ha Ha and cool! As soon as the date and details are locked in I will let him know. Actually I tried to enlist him for the "lakes" run since he is close to that one. He is in Grass Valley. But he had a family deal come up so can not make that one.
Oh and I would have asked permission for that too. I don't want any ruffled feathers

By the way, I love early Broncos! If I didn't get my Jeep, I'd have an early Bronco! 4" springs, disc brakes, P/S on 35's. Maybe even a 1/2 cab!

Ohhh So do I. Mine would be sporting a 351 Cleveland 4V with a NP435 and a 4' lift is just about right. But to buy one even a basket case is so expensive. They are just too rich for this poor boy.
