Yeah im in the same boat. I have been wanting to go Jeep camping for a year, but im not going to be greedy and ask for both Mon & Tues off. So im just in for the day trip.

LOL i dont know who said it but NO one is getting from P ville to 88/Bluelakes in an HOUR maybe if this was a bike run, but not 4 bangers with 33"'s

Sccafire, If connor (junior) doesnt ride along, I would be interested!!

its cool, I was'nt trying to single you or anyone else out, only that a bunch of us won't make it there by 9

anyone know about how long the trail itself takes to run ? and what is the plan beyound that ? turn around and run it backward ?

I am betting the drive will be closeer to two hours. With bigsquats directions the last 8.5 miles is a dirt road with the possibility of using 4 wheel drive.

The trail itself is about 6.4 miles long.

My plans afterwards are to head back either thru Markleeville or the other way thru Hwy 49.

So it turns out that my boss for my summer job has a Cj7. I told him i have a Tj. He replies saying, you should do fine, a stock jeep can get through Deer Valley. (i think he thinks im stock ). The look on his face when i pull up to work

Anyway, here's a pic of his jeep on the DV trail
