Death Valley Trails

A group will be going to the Death Valley area, and beyond, in the near future. We've been to the Saline Valley area, through the Hot Springs, Steel Pass and eventually to the Eureka Dunes.

My question:

Is there a trail from this route (Steel Pass area) to the Saline Valley road? I seem to remember a spur going off to the West after the pass, but I can't be sure.

Any information is greatly appreciated.
