Cow Mountain Clean up

I just got off the phone with BLM and expressed how us Jeeples are not happy how the public is trashing the east side of Cow Mt. in the Scotts creek area. BLM was glad to hear that we are willing to clean the area up.

I'm making arrangements with BLM to bring a dumpster to the Scotts Creek area so we can get volunteers to clean up the area and dump the trash we pick up in BLM's dumpster. We don't have a date set up yet, but we will have one soon.

I'm looking for volunteers to help clean this area up so we don't loose this area to 4 wheeling or anything else. We don't need more land and trails closed to us for the things that we like to do.

So please let me know if you are willing to help with this.
Thanks!

+1 for this cause.

A lot of off-road areas around my neighborhood and getting trashed too. It's really a shame because most of them are landmarks and people don't show any respect for nature or the environment.

Keep us posted.

Bob's boring build:

I am in, depending on date. I have a 4X6 jeep trailer I can use to haul trash from trail to dumpster.
I have a bad back so bending does not work to well for me. But I will help where I can.

Hey Spyder you are so cal by your profile. Are you coming up all the way to nor cal to pick up trash? Man that's dedication to the sport.

I just wanted to add my two cents.

In all honestly, its gotten my attention around my area and its a shame that it is happening everywhere in California.

A trek up north would be welcomed at this point though.

I will do my best to make this one. Even if I have to drive up after work.

"follow at your own risk" or "trail? What trail? We don't need no stinking trail"

I'll bring my 4x6 trailer and 2 saws. I need the date ASAP so I can keep the Big Boss from scheduling over the day or weekend. She get touchy when she plans something and I tell her "oh I had plans for that day." If it ain't on the calender as far as she is concerned it don't exist, she is telling me that the 23rd and the 27th of April are already booked. The Hollister trip has already got her irritable because my B-day is the 20th and hers is the 25th and we usually do something the weekend between. Life what do ya do?

You won't need a chain saw for this work party, just a trailer or pickup and a good pair of gloves.

I appreciate everyone's interest! I'll get the date out as soon as I can. BLM has sent me some paper work today. So as soon as that's taken care of, I should have a date.
