I'll be running Cleghorn on the 15th. Meet 9am at McDonalds off of Wagon Train Rd (just south of Hwy 138, east of I-15). Chevron is next to it so you can gas up there. We'll head off around 9:30 for the trailhead, gonna run this from east to west. Post up if you can make it.

Hey this is my first post... I got my 95 ZJ about two months ago and have been working on building it. I would love to go but That will be my daughters bday so I plan to do a family day. Plus I have my new bumper and I need a spare tire. Maybe a rain check on this one but keep me posted.

Welcome to the board. What are your build plans for the ZJ? I'll be posting runs as they come up. If there's a trail you want to run, you should post up too. I'll be at Hi Desert Round-Up next month, and Big Bear Forest Fest in June. Hope your daughter has a happy birthday!

I should be down for cleghorn, never wheeled it before which is sad cause I'm close to it. My dad and I are planning on doing forest fest as usual. How long is cleghorn? Open/open on 35s ok? I'm no newbie wheelen but since swapping the 8.8 I'm out a locker till pay day!

You can be 4x2 on Cleghorn and be fine. It's a fire road with occasional offshoots that are fun. I covered almost everything at Cleghorn stock on 30s.

The actual Cleghorn Trail is a fire road, we will be taking the less traveled bypasses if you will, 4x4 low range is required
(don't ever jump on someone's rig as a counter-weight, there are safer ways to do it)

You're meeting by the west entry to Cleghorn, but then you're going to drive all the way to the east entry and start the trail? If this is true, it will save me a lot of driving to just meet you at the eastern entry. Can you specify where you are actually entering the trail so I can meet you there? Coordinates, map link, or descriptive directions will work.

Hopefully you misstyped and meant you are running Cleghorn west to east. Breakfast at McDonald's is a perk for my daughters!
