Also anyone have anytips on going to pismo beach like where to set up a camp/area to bbq, were to enter, how much it cost to enter, what to bring when hitting the dunes, what to prepare on a jeep before hitting the dunes and if theirs a cb channle to call help when you get stuck.

I am in san luis obispo and may be down to go. I go out there all the time. I would camp farther back off the shore so you don't have to worry about the tide, it changes pretty dramatically. Day passes are 5 dollars and camping is 10 per night. I would bring some tools just in case, and a tow strap, because people who are willing to pull you out don't always have a strap (I used to have a 2wd Ford ranger, been stuck plenty of times. and if you air your tires down to around 8 psi you will probably be able to get around in 2wd a little bit, but you shouldn't worry about having to get stuck at all in 4wd with that tire pressure. Let me know if you got any other questions, im pretty close to the dunes
