well, that is exactly the kind of wheelin i prefer..my xj is a dd, i dont have anything to 'prove' and i also dont wanna break ****...its still fun out there tho.

Yea its still fun you can drive for days back there. Ive heard there are a few old gold mines around there but i havent found them yet.

yea, you can drive for days. very cool campspots too. there are some mines out there?, my friend and her family actualy still hold one of the 'active' claims. all that really means is they go out there once every so often and move some dirt...lol...still a very very cool place i think.

Santa Maria here. 97 TJ on 31" Mud Terrains (currently garaged for a few months, doin some work) and my gf has a JK on 35" Baja Claws. I'm a poor college student so progress is moving pretty slow on the tj but it should be good to go pretty soon.

Why dont you post on the Central coast/california thread?

It makes it a hell of a lot easier to find people to go wheeling with.
