Carnegie SVRA info

I'm thinking about heading out to Carnegie SVRA tomorrow morning with the wife and playing around a bit. As this will be my first time out there, any suggestions, recommendations, warnings etc?

I know to keep out of the creek as per the recent lawsuits.

Not that much to do there. There's a 4x4 play area, and that's it if the creek isn't open. They have some rocks, a mud pit, and a couple little hills to go over. Fun for about an hour or so.

Yeah, we ended up cruising by there, pretty much a waste of time. Nice Sunday drive though.

its to bad there isnt anything in the bay area to have fun for more than a hour at.

in sac theres prarrie city and it sucks. when i lived down in concord we could go play in pittsburg and somewhere out in brentwood. we used to go to riovista and ride some sand dunes as well. but that was in the late 70's and 80's. how cool would it be if there was a 4x4 park at mt diablo.

Yeah, with Frank Raines closed for fire season it looks like Hollister is my next best option. Still 90 miles though - yuck.
