Ca gold country 4x4 trails and camp grounds?

It's a little too early for any good trails. You might try Beal's Point or the peninsula campgrounds on Folsom Lake. There are a lot of dirt trails around the lake. Nothing too tough, you have to worry about getting your WJ stuck in.

check out the Nor Cal Thread... we plan alot of runs. Well you could go to Prairie City OHV and play around for a couple hours. Or you could go up to mormen emigrant and there are hundreds of logging roads off of it, (some technical some not, your WJ could probably handle most of them. Although there might still be snow up there, not sure.) Where exactly do you live (town).

Connor, remember El Dorado National Forest is still in their Winter closure. Nothing off pavement until April 1st. They usually extend the clousure a couple of weeks.

You can check here for updates.

I live in livermore and dont have a lift yet but hopefully in the next couple of weeks i will. I made it half way down slick rock road stock with street tires though. So i can handle a lil bit of a challenge lol

Too Much snow

There is still too much snow for the good trails. Mormon Emigrant Trail likely won't open for a while. Fordyce will be closed. Batch of rain due next week as well.

most camping spots in the Sierra's are under snow right now. but when it does melt, there are also some nice camping/wheeling places in the Stanislaus N.F east of Modesto. Might be a tad closer for you.
Also, if you just want to wheel a bit now, there is always Hollister Hills. Some of us were just there yesterday. They have a good mix of hard and easy trails.

WRM
