Ha! Well, will do gold for sure tomorrow. If we run out of time or just do other things then maybe will meet up for your Holcomb run.

Nice meeting you Zombiehunter. Yeah with any luck maybe we can get another Big bear run in before the weather starts cooling down? Once it cools we'll be doing more desert runs like Calico, Cougar Buttes, etc. If you know of any good trails down your way maybe you can plan a run?

Great to meet y'all too.

Ironically I have been attempting to make an October trip to calico. Hopefully ending up a little tipsy in LV.

There are a handful of trails in the mountains behind Hemet/San Jacinto but they are far less extreme. There is a "more extreme" trail called Indian truck trail off of bee canyon but that's overrated. It's only about 5-7 miles and the whole loop is about 2-3 hours.

I have been through trails from borego springs linking to ocotillo wells on 2 and 4 wheels, that's always fun.

Best bet is wildomar. I have went up there last month but the fires still had the ohv park closed. There are some easy to extreme trails.

Wildomar, is that part of Silverado Canyon? We use to 4 wheel up there back when I was in high school. Looks kinda like Cleghorn, Cleghorn has deeper ruts though.

Hey skylar is that a full weekend run in October?

Hotshot, Wildomar is in Cleveland national forest above lake Elsinore by highway 74. From what I have seen on you tube is it is mainly ruts, up and down hill.

That's probably why I haven't run with you guys in a year+. I've checked the IE thread, but never looked in the LA thread until I saw the mention here. I'll keep an eye out. Sunday was a great run. Gold Mtn is a great second trail.

Hey, I'm headed to big bear Saturday morning through Sunday. Never been there, don't know where to go once I get up there really. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm going out with a couple pickup guys so I understand if nobody wants us to tag along but if I could get an idea of where the best trails are that'd be great
