Bee Canyon/Idyllwild Area

Is anyone familar with the Hemet to Idyllwild trails (specifically 5S07 - Bee Canyon and 4S21 - East Indian Mtn)? Do they have gates and are prone to being locked after hard rains? The Idyllwild ranger apparently took the entire week off, phone isn't being asnwered. I'm thinking going to that area to explore this weekend.
Thx,
Cliff

No, didn't do the trip (mud is not my thing, and it was continuing to rain throughout that weekend). Will try it sometime this spring.
