Bay Area

Hey, I live in Vallejo, near SF, and am looking for a good group to do day trips with. I have a few buddies with 4WD(non jeeps), but it'd be nice to go out with a bunch of jeeps sometime. I'm in school M-F, and am free must weekends. Been to Hollister and Prairie City, wouldn't mind trying some new spots. Let me know if you live in the area, or know of Jeep groups around here.

You are close to some of us, have a few guys and gals here from concord down to Livermore. For trail runs, trips, g2g check here:

I'm planning on going to Prairie City on the 16th. They are having an opening for some new stuff they built, and an appreciation day. It's free!! I'll probably be meeting up with jeepers before hand and go in caravan style. I'll keep you updated on the info if you're not busy that day. What do you drive?

i will be working that day but i should be off around noon if that works for you. i drive a f150. has minor stuff like level kit and 34 inch wrangler duratracs.

I'll probably already be there, I think we are planning on getting around 10:00. but we can meet up once you get there. you're on a jeep forum, and you don't drive a jeep? lol...

Since you're in the north bay, you might also try Cow Mountain in Ukiah, it's a BLM but there's a lot of well marked trails to try

Not a dumb question. There are a lot of acronyms tossed around. You'll get to know them.

BLM = Bureau of Land Management
