Back in NorCal

Originally from NorCal, moved to Oregon for work, now I'm back after being laid off. I have a 96 ZJ which I wheeled while I was up there and got hooked. Wheeled up at Brown's Camp in the Tillamook State Forest. I thought about hitting the Rubicon after I get some issues resolved, but I heard that the wheelbase is a bit much. I currently live in Vacaville, and would like to know about some places to hit trails...
Thanks.
