Looking for trails in Idaho

Hi, I'm planning to drive up to Arco and tour the old nuclear reactor up there. I live in Boise, so I'll be driving on I-84 until Mountain Home and then taking 20 across by Craters of The Moon.

Anyone know if there's any trails in that area I could run? I'd rather not drive all the way to Arco and back in one day, so if there's more stuff to do on the way that would be nice.

My jeep has 5" of lift and 31" tires, so nothing too extreme unfortunately.

P.S. any trails that are along that route and aren't "too far" out of the way would be nice. I'm not insane enough to think I could wheel in craters of the moon.

I don't know about 'trails' per se, but I've been around Arco and Mackey a bunch. Head towards Mackey from Arco, and there's King Mountain Pass, which is a hell of a climb, like a full size pickup will have trouble. On the other side of the valley is Antelope Creek basin, which is an almalgamation of wilderness areas. Then on the north side of the valley is another pass that I can't remember the name of right at the moment. but that's where we got my dad's moose.
Hope it helps.

Yes it is, but it doesn't "technically" belong to me yet, and the person it "technically" belongs to says there's no way in hell I'm modifying the fenders. So I'm stuck with 31s. At least I can stuff them without rubbing.
