I did the OWyhee Byway recently. Weather was great for it! We started in Grandview and went W to Jordan Valley.
Here are a few highlight photos:

Today I led a trail clean-up/trimming run to Sinker Creek. The purpose was to trim back some of the potentially vehicle-damaging foliage that the trail is known to have. Spent a few hours with chainsaws and clippers. No worries, we left plenty of pin-striping opportunities for the rest of you. Just less trees that can dent/scratch rather than the brush-y harmless stuff. :-)

Photos:

I also made a GoPro video of much of the trail. Sorry, it is rather long (7min) and my first time editing videos:

It is super easy. You do not even new 4WD for it, unless you take some of the side trails. I would recommend packing extra gas if you plan to explore the side trails. I'd like to go out again and do more exploring, esp along the OR border area. I'm hoping to plan a trip to explore the Pillars of Rome sometime this fall.
We camped at North Fork River Rec Site. It was very nice and not busy. Be prepared for lots of dust!

Thanks and I could not go faster than 50mph on that trip either. I hadn't yet installed my high steer kit and was getting horrible JK dart-y driving experiences if I went any faster. Driving on I84 to get to Grand View area sure was....interesting.

It started to rain pretty hard, so we took the exit after the "campground" and didnt go all the way to the reservoir.
