I have. I won't be able to get out for a few weeks as I've got plans for the next 2 weekends. I picked up one of those BLM maps (awesome!) and it's on there. Pick one up and call me and I can give you the general rundown.

I'm willing to wait a couple weeks if you want to set up a date for a run. Pick a day that works for you and I can rally the troops!

Cheers

Let's tentatively plan for the weekend of 8/10-11.

Go over to the BLM (3948 Development Ave, Boise) and pick up the BLM Murphy Subregion Travel Map. It's a very nice map and it has all the trails on it (not by name).

You guys might want to start waxing those Jeeps now, Sinker Creek will knock most of the wax off; LOL.

(Sometimes the brush can get pretty thick.)

That's right, if you're worried about pinstriping this may not be the run for you. I forget that people go up and actually maintain that trail and cut back the brush. I wonder if that has been done this year?

I talked to Justin about wheeling sinker this Sunday the 28th. Sorry i can't wait any longer haha. I can at least report back with brush status/ water level. Anyone else interested? No pretty Jeeps, this one will leave you with some nice Idaho pinstriping

Which other maps might be useful. I'm new to Boise and Idaho. I'm looking to explore areas within two or three hours. I have looked around the Idaho Trails website and getting trail info is way too tedious.

The only other map I have personal experience with is the Forest Service map for the Idaho City Ranger District which you may be able to get in Boise (I got mine in Idaho City from a helpful local). You could call the Boise National Forest office @ 373-4100 or visit http://fs.usda.gov/boise
