I've walked meatgrinder. It's all fairly easy rock garden stuff other than the first waterfall. This water fall kinda scares me lol;

Jason and John are going and they are locked f/r. They should walk over it pretty easy I think. After that, we can hook a strap/winch for the rest of us to ease over it if we have problems.

Cheers

I think we are going to try and tackle Meatgrinder.
Man you should come! It would be nice to not be the only square eyes in the group! Just checked out and read through your build. Your Jeep makes mine look like a tiny little toy! Great work. I want your 5.2!

Cheers

Thanks. Tons of time and money in it thats for sure. It gets even better when you hear it rumble out of the 12" glasspack dumping into nothing but undercarriage.

TJ Dana 30 is 27 spline.
I am going to go out on a limb here and give some unsolicited engine advice. Do whatever you want to but it is pretty solid advice for current engines. Mopar has made the inline 6 engine for quite a few years, first the 232, 258, 4.2L and the 4.0L. Same basic engine with some differences in carbs, fuel injection, and electronic controls. The later 4.0L that is computer run and fuel injected is pretty darned efficient, they took alot of time in developing it. If you take and change one end of a component, i.e. the fuel inectors; the computer and sensors will try to adjust for that but they only can do so much stock. Until you reprogram that computer and possibly change sensors, you are basically beating a dead horse. Simply put and I hope you can follow that. You may get a bit of improvement, but likely it won't be alot. Now, if you were to match the computer to the sensors, to the fuel injectors, to the timing, to the cam timing, to the air ratios, etc; then you could see large improvements. You won't see much by changing just one part of the total package. In the old pre computer days we could change everything else to match and get large gains of improvement. Today that damned computer just adjusts it where it wants to and that is what you get. A compromise. Mopar really did a pretty good job on the 4.0L, I would not mess with it. No throttle body whistlers, no neon injectors, no fancy exhausts, etc.
Now, if you really need to feel some seat of the pants acceleration; change your gear ratios or tire size. Done. Throw some 4.56's in there with those 31's and really notice a change. (And crappy mileage). Price you pay to play.
This advice was free, and worth exactly what you gave for it.
