That said, I would love to join a club. I've been trying to hook up with IOR for four months now. I filled out the online application, sent emails, and even drove all the way out to meridian last week to try and make the Thursday meeting. I arrived at 7pm but nobody was there. I'm honestly a little bit frustrated at this point since joint a club has proven to be difficult and finding places to wheel is also proving quite the task.

Is there someone I could call directly to chat about joining? I have two good friends also interested as well.

Thanks again.

Cheers
I will take you down there and show you a few trails if you would like. I'm not really a "club" type of guy as I like to get out in small groups. Lost Trail is a nice run, nothing too difficult. I would be down with this Saturday morning if that works for you.

95% of all clubs events are open to the public, and those events are a great way to learn trails, make connections, etc.

A little secret info about Danskin. When you get to the top of the hill above the flatlands, look for a tree all by its lonesome on the left-about 200 yards from the road. In that tree is a hay sycle that was put in the fork of the tree many years ago and the tree grew around it. At the Case Creek trail head, there is a tiny pond full of cattails. During season it is a great spot for bluegill and crappie.
Ah. I thought it was the last Thursday of each month...That's my fault then. I'll make it this Thursday then.

Thanks for all the info. I'll start trying to find all those places! I appreciate it so much.

Saturday morning works for me anytime after 11am. My daughter has t-ball on Saturday's at 10am. But after that I'm free all day. Once again my number is 761-9886. Feel free to call or text me. My name is Brycen. I have at least one other friend that would be down to go as well.

Yes you do. Stop sucking so bad! Wheel more, work less! Not like you're planning on a bunch of expensive mods coming up.

Cheers

I'm not the club type either, but if group size is all that's holding you back, there are a lot of club outings that consist of smaller groups. They just call or email each other and don't post it on the forum. No one seems to mind.

All the dust on my Rubicon and the overcast does make it look silver, but it's white.
