ALways wanted to do the MacGruder Corridor... Heard about when I was wee tiny in 1985...

Checking in from Kellogg... You 2C/1A guys that need wheeling buddies should hang out on Planet4x4... lots of wheeling trips posted there. Don't really miss the sagebrush (well maybe a little... 'specially when it blooms) and needing to go play up here.

I was being ambiguous. I'm thinking Meat Grinder and Carnage. Maybe Teeter Totter (I think it's called that). I just need to get out and flex things out and see if I have any issues.

No build thread. I didn't take any pics while building. There was waaaaaay too much work to do.

  • Currie 4" springs
  • Rancho RS9000XL shocks (10" front, 11" big body rear outboarded)
  • 2 x .250" lowers
  • 1.5 x .120" uppers
  • Johnny Joints all around
  • Stock brackets up front (short arm)
  • 4-linked rear (mid arm)
  • Relocated rear coil buckets
  • Currie front track bar
I will mid arm and 3-link the front eventually. I still need to finish the exhaust (just waiting to sell my cat-back). I had to drop my TC skid 1" because I was getting a vibe I just could not dial out. I may need to get my shaft lengthened. Other than that, it's done. I don't have too many pics, I'll take some more and post.

Looks like Pete is trying to get some people out to that area this weekend (he's the guy that took us up 2HD). Also, HBRK is running 2HD this Saturday.

I need to see if I can make it. I would probably choose to go with Pete. My inlaws are going to be in town and there is also a shooting match, so I'm not sure if I can make it.

I need to take the Jeep out bad. I'm down for a run this weekend. I haven't got to take it out since I trimmed the fenders.

Just moved to Nampa! What does the area have to offer? Where are some good trails?

20 minutes south of you are the best trails in the area. What kind of wheeling do you like to do?

My dad had been back through to lake josephus. Anything in particular you want me to ask him about up there?
