I originally planned on making it but it's looking like I won't be able to now. A few things have come up. Still up in the air at this point.

I might be if there isn't a smaller group going out.

Undecided here as well.
It's going to be COLD!
My Jeep is too little to play on these trail with the big rigs...
And I have a 'job' to do latter in the day (some yard clean & trash hauling)

I was kinda hopeing that all of us with smaller, streetable rigs might enjoy the show at first and then seacretly slip off to another trail and hit some snow.

But I can't run the snow and do the yard work... so I'm undecided.

TJW,

this is a good idea, Dogman was talking about LT again, but I definitely have plans and can't make it to the IOR rock run or other. Good weather is just around the corner though (I hope) and we'll get out there again soon.
Also-just heard from Sinbad and he says he'll be busy working on spring retainers this weekend

BOINGGGGGGG. HAHA.

I am at the end of my trail. I was lucky two get two runs and a meeting this month. I could easily do lost trail again next month with a longer day by getting up there bfor or at sunrise . Some Hiking to see the Eagle's nest. Longer lunch in picnic chairs and a campfire. Mebe even a brewski to boot. Possibly some kids running around.

In case anybody knows anybody interested I am trying to sell the axles out from under my Jeep. They are the stock Dana 30/35 combo with 4.10 gears. 116K miles on them, no strange noises or anything out of the ordinary on them. I am asking $950 for both axles complete and the tires and wheels that I have on the Jeep right now. I figure if I can get what I am asking for them I can pick up some 35's and then just toss a few bux over to my brother and grab some grand wagoneer axles he has and throw them in SOA. I can always regear/lock later on. Just tossing it out there in case you guys know anybody looking for something like that.

90 YJ 5.2 Magnum, AX-15, 231 SYE'd
D44 front, welded/trussed AMC20HD rear. 4.56 gears soonish.
Western 6 lug aluminum wheels, with 35x12.50x15 Wrangler MTRs
MYj Build

You have a shot at selling the hp30 but the 35 is worth more as scrap. You may be better off piecing them out.

I was originally planning on it but realized I had already made plans I can't get around. What trail are you guys running in those pics? I'm guessing Meatgrinder and Carnage?

I have been on Jacks Creek or Little Jacks Creek trail once at night. Nice mild to medium trail but time of year may have lots of water at one point (like 6 feet deep). Some areas around Jacks Creek areas fell to closures within some of the Owyhee management plans. The Wild West Off Roaders are the most familiar with that trail and nearby area. Mostly washes, sagebrush and some areas of rocks. There is quite abit of privately owned ranches in the area also.
Sinbad should be good to go on his spring retainers. We built the major portions of them last night in the garage. He just has to go install them. They will be a bit heavier duty than most use as that is what I had laying around for stock.
