Not sure, I'll be working on my XJ over the weekend but it still won't be done (at least ready to wheel...) until the 1st or 2nd week in May. That being said, I'm willing to go anytime, I have no problem just parking my F250 and spotting - either way it's enjoyable to me

EDIT: We need to find out if the area is even open...

Ditto, that's what I was going to ask...any links to BLM site that has info on reopened runs? And about making a run. Just post up when you are going and they will come. That's what I did for the last one...

Hey, I found it. As of 3/17 here is a map of the closure.

http://www.owyheecounty.net/docs/rec...Map3-17-08.pdf

Looks like the road/trail the break off group took last time is the furthest east/south we could go, so that's cool. It was fun, if not technical. And it looks like MeatGrinder is available too, so if the bypasses aren't so slick, I would be up for that too! Say two weeks? April 12?

It's fun to come in from the back side. Essentially go up Reynolds Creek Rd until you come to a cemetery, take a left and go about 1/2 mile and you'll see a parking area. Take a right into the parking area and go through the backside. It's a little rough for the first couple of miles but eventually you'll end up by Silver City; and you'll pass some camping spots on the way!

I'm going to try making the 26th but may not be able to.

I should have my XJ ready by then; I'll post up either way when the time gets closer...
