I am hoping to find some time in the next month to do mine, $$$s is their, just need to find the time now

The biggest change I can see is I am getting rid of the receiver and adding a receiver mount under the bumper cover on the main support beam and adding shackle mounts on both sides, I haven't seen it before and I think it will work for me, if I tow anything it will be a light weight trail trailer. It just has to support the weight of the jeep 8-)

Spending the money is the easy part lol. Buy extra if not sure, nothing else I am sure you can alway use extra for other projects. I am setting $250 to $300 a side for steel for the carrier and sliders, I am copying IORs budget sliders to the tee but adding nudge bars to the side.

As soon as I can find time, I am going to my buddy's to build it. If my time frame don't work for him, then I will find other help. Plan is to have my carrier along with tank tuck, sliders, winch, and flares done before I hit the trails hard again. I can't do a larger lift/tire combo right now so I am going to get the rest done

That will also give me the time to figure out how much bigger to go, half way thinking 6" long arms with 33s, gives me room to grow :-D

Yep, you're missing out on a ton of pics and videos. I even got a chance to go play in the YJ for a little bit last Sat and took a few videos along with some Tom took of me. They are on FB.

Yup.
I didn't have a FB until a couple months ago. I only started one to keep up with the Exiled chat that was going on there, and I'm glad I did. Sharing pics, videos, talking, events, etc is actually a lot easier with FB than JF...

Cheers

I have a question for you guys?
Which set of sliders in this thread should we make for my wj? Both of them with an outer tube added of course. I like how the first ones are tucked but they would need and outer round tube attached. Is attaching a tube even a possibility on the first ones?

Thanks

I think you can add some tubing to that first on, the second one is close to what I got planed for the nudge bar on mine, but a little more beefy

I like how the first is so clean though. The seconds aren't tucked close enough to the body. I guess they could be tucked closer though.

My .02 after having several rigs with either bought or built sliders. The round tube added to the slider is a lousy step no matter how you build it. If you want a step, add a step plate (make it non slick-maybe some dimples in it)to it somewhere you think you need it(on the tube). Also, watch how far the tube sticks out from the body. You will catch it every time on the back of your leg when exiting the rig. And when your wife does it and ruins her clothes-you will be in deep doo-doo. Something to think about. And forget about adding that non slick grip tape to the tube-your clothes and back of your calf will thank you.

Not thinking for use if a step, been back and forth about square or round. I just want to make sure I have a little nudge to protect the body
