So I finally got stuff accomplished!!!

Got my CB installed and it looks good mounted finally!!! My stereo issue is fixed, found out my stock Infinity amp was pretty much fried from being drenched at some point. Now that it is gone, no more popping!!! Also got my linkage cut and put back in. Still needs some fine tuning though, still not hitting all the gears just right... I think I need to cut another 1/2" out of it so I can hit everything...

Lol... When I get back, I will see when a good time is and let you know. I should be able to get a few people from Oregon Jeep Owners facebook page.

Ok i bought a CB today and kinda looked at all the stuff and i have 0 idea how to wire this thing.. i haven't really looked into it yet, but i'm going to the beach tomorrow and there should be some down time so if i can i'd like to do it while i'm there.. Is it possible to get a little instruction? So far what i noticed was a black and red wire.. one gets grounded and one goes to the fuse box? Where to the fuse box? Also, the larger wire that connects to the back of the CB thats like 16 feet long and decently thick... ok so that connects to the CB and then where does it go? idk where the other side goes haha, lastly does anything connect to my antenna? i have the mounts and stuff and going to be mounting it on the back bumper.. is that ok?

thanks!

Is it new? If so there should be instructions. If not, your best bet is to find someone who knows how to wire them in. I had a friend help with mine. As for antenna, if you have a metal bumper you should be good, then all you need is an antenna coax cable.
If your power wire is long enough, you could run it straight to the battery then just find a metal ground close to your mounting location. Mine is mounted to the center console and wired to a hot wire in my fuse boxand grounded on the chassis. My antenna is mounted at my left tail light.
